Chin acne is a common problem. It is most commonly found in teenagers and younger women, but it can be frustrating for the person to deal with or even try to get rid of. Continuing to read this article will answer any questions you have about acne on the chin.
Acne can appear on the chin mainly because it is part of a wider spread of acne, with that being said it is possible that this type of outbreak can just be on it’s own. In many teenagers, researchers refer to a “T-zone” which is the part of a body on a teenager where acne is most likely to show up or spread to. The T-zone’s area mainly consists of the upper area across the head or forehead and it runs all the way down the nose stopping at or around the chin area. It is common knowledge that this is where the majority of your oil glands are and, during puberty, they start to overflow and run wild causing pimples and acne to occur and start appearing.
For adults, this is a common problem mainly for women as their ‘monthly cycles’ interfere and contribute to this break out. This type of acne may very well also appear during a pregnancy. These flare ups that occur are located mostly on the lower chin or jaw and are believed to be directed linked to a woman’s hormonal changes and imbalances during pregnancies.
These are the reasons that these pimples and acne always appear on or around the chin area, but how are we going to stop or prevent this from starting in the first place? Well, here are some things that you can do to minimize the rise you getting acne.
What You Should Do:
Have a healthy diet – Fresh fruits and vegetables not only keep your body healthy, but they have vitamins that can help with clearing the face. These foods can cut down the amount of oil that is brought the to surface of your skin.
Keep a low stress level – Stress is another main factor when it comes to acne, the most stressed your are the more that you will notice pimples and acne starting to appear. I suggest to meditate or do something that calms and relaxes you for at least 30 minutes a day.
What You Should Not Do:
Don’t Wash The Area of Acne – You might be tempted to keep cleaning and clearing the oil on your face, but this is a major mistake that most people make. Our bodies need some of these natural oils in order to keep healthy and the more you try to get rid of them the more your body will fight to produce it.
Avoid Fatty Foods – Sugar and fatty foods contribute to the oil that you produce, your pretty much consuming oil when you eat these foods and your body needs a way to get rid of it. Your body will try and get rid of the excess oils through your oil glands, thus causing a flare up and more unexpected pimples or acne. Always eat a healthy balanced diet and drink plenty of water.
If you notice that your acne problems are not solved by these common home remedies, or if your acne is a big problem and it starts to affect your social life, then it might be time to go about it a different way. There are lots of natural remedies for acne that can be purchased online without having the embarrassment factor of going to a local shop. The site that is linked below for example is a natural method of curing acne that is fast, safe and effective. I suggest that if your acne is serious enough you should see a dermatologist.
