Acne is a growing problem for many and it can actually be difficult to get clear skin because people are not being told the truth. As an ex acne sufferer myself I learned this the hard way how ever now using a good plan of action I have got the clear skin that I have always wanted. 1. The more you wash your face the cleaner it will be is one of the biggest circulating myths out there and is actually one of the major reasons as in to why people suffer from acne. You see if you are washing your face more then twice a day you are causing your skin to dry out and in turn your body creates extra surface oils in an effort to try and rehydrate your skin. This is when acne breakouts begin because these oils become trapped in the skins pores.

2. Diet is very important to your acne how ever chocolate does not cause pimples as this is only a myth. Time after time people fall for this stupid myth how ever it is actually the healthier foods that you are eating that are causing your acne. Diary products and bananas actually contain specific amino acids in them that can trigger the release of sebum in your body. Sebum is the main substance involved in acne production so it is best to limit these foods if possible.
